Personal statement

I would be honored to serve on the Concordia University System Board of Directors as it works with our Synod's universities and their mission of educating and training up servants for the church and for the world. I would approach this position with a willingness to provide any guidance I can and a desire to learn how best to facilitate strong relationships and understanding between our congregations and universities. Our Concordia universities are a great blessing and deserve solid biblical, confessional, and adept leadership to help them carry out the common mission of the church in our time and place.

Personal statement

My intent for continuing in service on the Board is to continue fostering a consistent and recognizable Lutheran identity across all our Concordias. It's been an honor collaborating with faculty and leadership, listening to andreflecting on Scripture's clarion call for all learning to be rooted in His Word, and building a shared understanding of what it meansforour universities to embrace a distinct Lutheran identity. The worldview around us often clashes with what we aim to promote in our higher education system, making it one of the biggest challenges for our faculties, presidents, and boards of regents.
