University Updates: Concordia University, Irvine, as a faithful and thriving university of the LCMS, is grateful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for innumerable blessings and are excited to report the following updates: • Concordia, as a comprehensive university offering bach-

  • In the spring of 2023, with the approval of both the CUS board and the Synod Board of Directors, Concordia began the process of purchasing a furnished, 115,000-square-foot building with a parking structure and lots for 700+ vehicles on 6.6 acres of land just 3 miles from the current campus. This represents an increase in classrooms, offices, and meeting spaces of 40 percent to our current campus. This building will house our School of Health and Human Sciences. At the time of this report, the purchase negotiations are ongoing, but very favorable! We hope and pray to celebrate this news at the 2023 LCMS Convention!
