WHEREAS, The floor committee has considered all overtures assigned to it and has concluded, for various reasons, that certain overtures should be declined; therefore be it

Resolved, That the following overtures be respectfully declined for the reasons given: Overture Subject Reason Ov. 10-07 To Establish an Independent Appeals Panel in Cases Involving the President’s Decisions Action called for is addressed by Bylaws

2.14.9 and 2.14.9.1 Ov. 10-11 To Amend to Require Reporting Complaints to Subjects Overture provides insufficient rationale of theology and practice for consideration Ov. 10-18 To Require No One to Participate in the Dispute Resolution Process Overture contravenes and contains inaccurate or confusing information Ov. 10-19 To Allow Parties to Delay Hearing to Await Commission Opinion Action called for is addressed by (2) Ov. 10-26 To Amend to Make Restriction Appeals Public Record and to Allow Further Review Would attempt to create a new appeals process that is otherwise not documented Ov. 10-33 To Amend to Allow District Presidents to Share Issues Prior to Installation Overture incorrectly refers to Bylaw
